  • How do I make a page responsive in Clickmax?

Use the device selector at the top of the editor to adjust mobile fonts and spacing without changing desktop. Mobile inherits desktop styles until you customize each property for the smaller screen.

Before you start: open a page in the editor with an account that has permission to edit it.

    1. With desktop selected, select an element and set its initial appearance in the editing panel.
    2. Switch to mobile in the device selector.
    3. Select the element and adjust its font size, margins or spacing for the smaller screen.
    4. Switch back to desktop and confirm that the mobile adjustment did not change that version. Switch to mobile again to check the result.
    5. Save and publish the page to make the adjustments available to visitors.

For example: a title with a 32 px desktop font also uses that size on mobile until you add a specific adjustment. If you change the font to 20 px with mobile selected, desktop keeps 32 px. Changing desktop to 36 px afterward does not replace the 20 px you chose for mobile. Properties you have not customized on mobile continue to follow desktop.

Content changes, such as replacing the words in a title, apply to both versions. Style guide presets are also shared and can provide different sizes for each device; customize the element's properties to make local adjustments. Devices are views of the same page, not independent copies.

    If it didn't work

    • The adjustment does not appear on a phone: confirm that mobile was selected while editing and that you saved and published the page.
    • A desktop change does not appear on mobile: check whether that property already has a mobile-specific adjustment.
    • The text changed in both versions: this is expected for content changes. To vary the appearance, use the style settings in the editing panel.
